Support Staff, Duluth, MN 55801 - August 18, 2017
A typical day at work was very busy at the front desk. Had to answer multiple phone line and intake clients and make appointments. Prepared new client paperwork, sent no show letters, reconciled daily bank deposits from all locations, opened mail and distributed. Prepared mail bags to be delivered to other locations. Faxed, copied, pulled files, filed. Prepared testing for clients and entered scores on-line. Prepared appointment templates for providers, took payments. Workplace culture seems a bit disjointed as there are some rude people working there. They seem to go thru a lot of Support Staff, I was one who stayed longer then most. Hardest part of the job was not the clients but dealing with some co-workers who were gossipy and back stabbing to each other, not nice. The most enjoyable part of the job was the mental health clients, I had a very good rapport with them and was very good at dealing with crisis and difficult situations.
