Typically, daily, I look forward to meeting clients at where they are by being sensitive to their needs due to the crises prone nature of mental illness and the symptoms flare ups base on categories of diagnoses. Apart from directing clinical therapy efforts at preventing crises or at least reducing episodes of occurrence, therapy are directed towards encouraging clients to fully participate in their treatment towards recovery by applying coping skills learned during therapy sessions. Motivational interview method combine with cognitive behavior therapy are instrumental in assisting client to reach individual treatment goals accordingly.
I consider my daily responsibilities as an intensive stabilization clinical therapist to be rewording despite hardships that involved in my profession of choice. I consider it an opportunity to serve those who are in dire need of my service.
