It's always hard to know what to expect when going in for that interview -- and preparation can make all the difference. What is the interview process like at Hyatt?
Any advice on striking the right note?

I applied to the Hyatt Care (call) Center in Moore, OK about a week ago, and so far, I haven't heard anything back. :(
I checked the website and it shows a status of "Completed." Does that mean that someone has seen my resume? Or just that it's in the system? I'd really like to work there (it's closer to my family than where I am right now), and Hyatt-from what I've seen-seems like a great place to work!
I have prior customer service and call center experience, so I just know I'd be a great fit! Can anyone give me an idea of the timeframe for a response?

Any advice for someone trying to get in?

I recently got interviewed for the Gallery Host position and did really well (interviewed with General Mgr). During this interview I was never advised of the credit check being apart of the background check only that they would check my criminal record for any felonies, etc and driving record. Now the question I have is I know I have poor credit will this have a huge impact in me not getting this job? I only found out about the credit check being apart of this background check viewing the hireright website... Im really upset that this may cause me to not qualify for this position. Does anyone know that they can see passed this?....

What do you think -- is this company going to survive and thrive? Are they looking to expand their staff, or do you think layoffs are inevitable?
How does Hyatt stack up against the competition?

I graduated from college last month and have been having a tough time finding a position in Colo Springs. I recently came across a job add for Park Hyatt Beaver Creek which was for a hvac technician which is what I went to school for. So I was wondering if there is anyone out there who works for Hyatt as a hvac technician.
If I was offered a job at beaver creek I would obviously have to relocate so does Hyatt provide assistant such as employee lodging? keep in mind that Beaver Creek is a ski resort in colorado and there aren't many houses and apartments in the town.

What I can't understand is...how can I have already work for the Hyatt back in 2001,as a front desk agent. I left on good terms and when I re-applied in 2007 for the HR Coordinator position, my application was rejected due to a negative history, not work history, because I have excellent work references. Even though I know that job was not for me,it's confuse me. My history was negative when I worked there in 2001, and I did not lie about it. Oh! by the way, Hyatt Key West, I've found something better,so thank you for rejecting my application, it saved me from getting stuck in a DEAD-END job. SO THANK YOU!!!:)
