Henkle Drilling & Supply Co., Inc. was founded in 1937 in Garden City, Kansas and currently operates in an eight state area including Kansas, Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Nebraska, Utah, and Wyoming. Hydro Resources acquired Henkle in March 2002. They are a recognized leader within the groundwater industry focusing on water well drilling and pump service projects for municipal, large commercial and agricultural customers. Henkle was a pioneer in developing the reverse-circulation drilling technique for deep drilling applications, which has become a specified drilling standard in many parts of the country.
AmWest, Inc., based just outside of Denver, was acquired by Hydro Resources in January 2003. Founded in 1977, AmWest is the leading pumping system design, installation and service company operating in the Denver Basin. In addition to specializing in the design, installation and maintenance of large volume, high horsepower pumping systems for municipalities and large commercial customers, AmWest is also one of the leading well rehabilitation specialists operating throughout the Colorado market.
Humboldt Drilling & Pump Co., Inc. was acquired by Hydro Resources in October 2003 in order to provide the company with geographic diversification outside the midwest and Rocky Mountain markets. Founded in 1978, Humboldt is a full-service water well drilling and pump service contractor that focuses on large diameter projects for municipal, commercial and agricultural customers. They are the largest groundwater contracting firm in the state of Nevada and primarily serve the northern Nevada and northern California markets. They are also licensed to operate in Utah, Oregon and Idaho.
LT Drilling Company was acquired in April 2004 to establish another core operating region for Hydro Resources. LT, based in Sunray, Texas, was founded in 1978 and primarily serves large agricultural and municipal customers in the panhandle of Texas. They also operate in northwestern Oklahoma, southwestern Kansas and northeastern New Mexico. The company operates as a full-service water well drilling and pump service contractor.
StrataTEK Groundwater Imaging, Inc., based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, was founded in 1992 and acquired by Hydro Resources in July 2004. StrataTEK is a pioneer geophysical service company specializing in the resistivity imaging of the subsurface to evaluate aquifers, alluvium, minerals and bedrock for numerous geological purposes.
Quality Drilling Fluids, LLC, based in Fort Lupton , Colorado , is a drilling mud engineering and water well rehabilitation service company servicing predominately the water and oil & gas industries.
