Terrible Management. Penny pinching idiocy
IT Manager (Former Employee) –  Sugar Land, TXJanuary 9, 2018
Clueless management. You are expected to work 50 hours a week. They refuse to spend any money on even the most basic infrastructure. The CFO is an absolute moron who lies through his teeth to make himself look good. Avoid like the plague.
Pros
Corporate office located near good restaurants
Cons
Poor management. No concern for work/lfe balance. Cheap

Vice President of Finance and Administration (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXDecember 23, 2016
Hydro was a great company. The people worked together, did whatever it took to get the job done and were friendly with each other. People are what make this company a place worth being a part of.

Limited opportunity
Service Technician (Former Employee) –  Fort Lupton, COSeptember 27, 2016
Opportunities exist within company or affiliates but management is reticent to offer opportunities to direct reports. This culture limits job desire to excel in current position.

I have never worked for a company that fired so many people
Business Development (Former Employee) –  Fort Lupton, COAugust 6, 2015
The company is in transition, trying to emulate their number one competitor. Poor management creates high turnover mostly from management firing employees for any reason. There are some good people working there but I do not recommend this company to anyone looking for a long term career.
Pros
Good industry
Cons
Poor management, no loyalty to employees
