A typical day at Hyla consisted of waking up being at a daily meeting 45 mins away by 11 am or 1 pm which ever Jim preferred. At that time you would be made away of leads that lead to appointments you had attained due to the phone room calling and setting them up. If you didnt turn in leads, you didn't receive appointments. LEADS = DEMOS= SALES.
times could be 10 am ( no meeting if you had a 10am night before notice.)
1pm, 3pm, 6pm, and 8pm.
Hardest work I've ever done as far as time consumption and driving. Not to mention your own vehicle. However if you worked every single day of the week, except Sundays (unless a customer can only demo on a Sunday) you could pull good money (I.E. 1000 plus a week.)
10-99 work so keep 1/3 of what you generate to pay your taxes!
Learned to make a friend and find common ground to gain or earn trust. If you do not do that you can't hardly get into their home much less sell them a product.
The people I met where the most enjoyable yet most important part of the job. They are absolutely all that matters and they have to know you care and are knowledgeable about your product. They see through lies and deceit. Without them, you are nothing and all you say means nothing.
Take care of people and they will take care of you!
