Truck Specialist, Colona, IL - November 7, 2017
We would get into work, go to a daily sales meeting covering our leads and who is hot and cold. After that we would hit the phones chasing down leads provided by our business development center. Long hours on the phone in a cut throat environment with a lot of competition. I learned persistence mostly on the job. Many customers it would take quite a while closing them. Also learned about financial institutions. Hardest part of the job was explaining in full the refurbishing that we did to the trucks. The most enjoyable part of the job was closing a deal on a very expensive piece of equipment. Made you feel like you really accomplished something. Management was good, cannot say a bad thing about them. They stayed on the employees to help ensure the quality of their trucks.
