About The Job:

Seeking a motivated leader to oversee Quality Systems and Improvement Initiatives. A primary role in maintaining the daily operation of the inspection and quality control operations in a contract manufacturing environment. Ensure that all raw material testing, analytical testing, bulk, and finished good testing is in compliance with all company SOPs and customer requirements. Supervise Quality Line staff and Lab/Incoming Technicians.

Job Responsibilities:

Oversee the Quality Management System to assure compliance
Author and maintain SOPs.
Maintenance of test equipment.
Perform validations/tech transfers of new test methods.
IQ/OQ/PQ for new test equipment.
Manage implementation of the internal audit system.
Manage non-conformance/quarantine program.
Responds, records, and communicates customer quality issues.
Facilitate customer corrective requests.
Supervise internal and supplier corrective action system.
Leads, trains, and motivates assigned quality assurance team members
Understands and promotes company policies
Implementation and control of customer specifications; responding to customer audits.
Develop, formulate, and direct implementation of inspection procedures.
Responsible for final disposition of non-conforming material.
Provide technical support to Production.
Assist in vendor performance evaluation
Evaluate process and product performance


College degree, preferably Chemistry or Engineering
Quality Control Laboratory experience (GC, FTIR, wet methods helpful)
Experience in a fast-paced production environment helpful
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work with customers, suppliers, and production personnel.
