This individual will be building and creating server and workstation images for VDI in a VMware environment. Assisting with large virtual desktop deployments as well as providing support and troubleshooting issues in various aspects of the company in relation to technologies from the Datacenter to the user level. This is a Senior Engineer level position that will show expertise in best practices methods in technology processes and must possess a motivated work ethic with dedication to the position. This position will require independent and team working scenarios. Communication and professionalism is a must for this position. This position requires strong documentation skills as far as assisting with writing processes in regard to project timelines and details to assure the best outcome possible for client projects. Ability to attend client meetings and work with other technology professionals in regard to project planning, timelines, details and carry out the project plan agreed upon.
Senior experience working in a VMware environment, building/creating Server and Workstation images.
Ability to work independently and with various teams to solve problems and provide solutions.
Must work we under pressure and meet timelines dictated in projects
Communication with CTO on a daily basis in regard to status of current projects etc.
Must be willing to provide on call support as well as work some weekends and nights as the projects dictate.
Must be willing to keep up-to-date on changing technologies.

VMware 5.5, VMware View, vCenter Operations Manager, VDI architecture and engineering, automation tools for deployment, Windows 7/8.1, WYSE Terminals, Performance and Network monitoring tools, Windows Server, Network Connectivity and VPN methodology, Network Security best practices and skillset with monitoring firewall logging and intrusion detection, Cisco switching and ASA Firewall configuration and troubleshooting, Cisco UCS and Nimble SAN storage configuration and administration, Data Backup and Disaster Recovery methodology, implementation and administration.
