IT Vizion is seeking an experienced Application Support Specialist to join our team.

Position Description

  • Support customers in the deployment and troubleshooting of the Siemens XHQ product.
  • Interface with Software Development, Quality Assurance or 2nd and 3rd level Technical Support personnel providing specific problem duplication information for bug resolution and product enhancements.
  • Full Time with some off-hours and weekend work required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learn the Siemens XHQ Product.
  • Responsible for analysis and resolution of customer problems submitted from on-site, telephone, and Web/email.
  • Setup and simulation of customer problems in Technical Support Lab.
  • Submittal of change requests to development for product deficiencies and enhancements.

Skill Requirements

  • Previous customer support, or applications support, or IT helpdesk experience required.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills to interact with technically versed customers in English.
  • Understanding of the Windows Server 2008 (and Windows 7) OS, security, and network environments (Microsoft Certification a plus).
  • Knowledge of SQL (Oracle or SQL Server) and database connectivity a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Javascript/HTML/C# and Web tools an advantage.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree or 3+ years of equivalent experience
