Title: Process Consultant(PLM)

- Post Graduation with a background in relevant domain
- Experience of 10-14 years in related domain. Specialization in one business area / industry
Job description: -
1. Portfolio Management
A. Deliver process consulting services to multiple accounts.
B. Client Value roadmapping and diagnostics.
C. Work on client projects involving implementation of PLM software in their organization.
D. Liaison & discuss with the client business stakeholders and business users in projects providing business solutions.
E. To fully understand and master the functional aspects of the Project within the specified time frames.
F. Identify and document current processes, analyze them and suggest a future state and have a buy in from the end user community.
G. Outline user requirements and functionalities and meet key milestones and deliverables (Process Maps, Requirement Grid, Data Models & Functional Specifications).
H. Work with the Technical / Project team to define and drive validation strategies and Software Design. Identify gaps in the solution to bridge these gaps.
I. Identify risks within the project or service delivered.
J. Conduct reviews with program managers and the teams during the project so as to ensure that progress is in line with the plan.
K. Generate and disseminate the service progress report of customer account(s) to the Consulting Practice Head on a periodic basis.
2. Customer management
A. Become an effective point of contact with customer accounts for communications and matters related to business aspects of projects.
B. Support on-boarding & operation of process consulting piece.
C. Create portfolio of services to be delivered to the customers.
D. Obtain periodic formal customer feedback and share them with teams.
E. Provide necessary visibility to the customer on the progress of the services being developed by client.
F. Identify new potential areas of further business engagement with client.
G. Account mining.
3. Business/Customer Acquisition
A. Closely co-ordinate with Business Development Team during pre-sales phase.
B. Work with Business Development Managers in presenting client capabilities wrt. domain expertise & business solutions.
C. Work with BDMs in initial assessment potential opportunities at customer site.
D. Work with BDMs in preparation and negotiation of proposal and finalization of contract with the customer(s).
E. Customer value road mapping & diagnostics.
4. Development of Business Solution & Accelerators :
A. Identification of white spaces and gaps.
B. Evaluate business potential for white spaces and gaps
C. Build accelerators and industry specific solutions.
D. Develop the standard templates which can be utilized as business accelerators for faster execution of projects.
E. Support & augment new solution building.
5. People Management
A. Monitor the performance of the people within the project/services
B. Closely co-ordinate with the people deployed at customer site in terms of monitoring time spent by them, quality of services being provided to the customer and all other issues related to ensuring provision of professional services to the customer as per agreed contractual framework.
C. Build capability hire resources, based on resource forecast planned.
6. Build equity for the consulting practice
A. Write white papers, exhibit solutions, and speak & on evolving industry dynamics in national & international journals & forums.
B. Demonstrate thought leadership in new applications for business process automation.
C. Contribute towards markets research on industry trends and developments
7. Mentor and Coach consultants
A. Conduct training programs for enhancing business knowledge, support trainings and development activities for for consultants and new recruits
B. Providing domain training & guidance in relevant domains.
