Apart from being active in the energy sector, Iberdrola SA is also engaged in the real estate operations, as well as engineering and construction activities, among others. In November, 2006, the Company formed strategic alliance with Scottish Power Plc, a company specializing in the production and transmission of energy. On December 13, 2007, one of the companies belonging to the group, Iberdrola Renovables SAU, debuted on the Spanish Stock Exchange.
