Wind Tech (Current Employee), Texas – January 16, 2014
Pros: awesome medical, and the best 401k i've ever heard of.
Cons: unpredictable hours sometimes.
Iberdrola is the best company I've ever worked for. The benefit are wonderful some of the best I've ever seen. The people I personally are very intelligent and trustworthy with great attitudes. The only down side is some times the hours can be unpredictable if a major failure occurs.
Lead Sr. Real Time Trader (Former Employee), NW Couch – October 3, 2013
Cons: rotating shift, very stressful work environment.
Involved in the day to day set up of next day trading as it pertained to generation plants status and wind plants forecast output. Involved in all aspects of PPM's real time portfolio, which included schedule curtailments, estimating wind plant schedules in numerous regions of the US. Involved in trading CISO, SW, and NW markets for maximum arbitrage – more... opportunity. – less
contractor (Former Employee), houston tx – January 17, 2012
Pros: free sodas
Cons: poorly managed
When I worked for Iberdrola, I was not impressed with the leadership. They seemed to be confused. The had so many layers of control they could not make a profit. I look for them to leave town once their government tax credits are exhausted.
Very energenic group with skills that will eventually match the industry.
Wind Plant Manager (Former Employee), Oregon – December 4, 2011
Pros: great benifits
Cons: to many bosses
Iberdrola is a young company that has the potential of being the best in the industry. The company's parent company is in Spain which makes it difficult for both entities to understand each others way of doing business. Overall Iberdrola is a great company to work for.
