Great place to work!
Employee (Current Employee) –  Morrisville, NCMarch 4, 2015
Everyone at iContact is amazing to work with. They really encourage the free exchange of ideas amongst their employees.

There were a couple of rough patches in iContact's past after they were acquired, but things seems to be finally back to (if not better than) the way they were.

I see amazing growth potential with this company and can't wait to see where they go!
Pros
Healthcare, Flexible Hours, Free Starbucks, Free Bagels, Game Room

Great Culture, Great People, Awesome Journey
Employee (Current Employee) –  Raleigh, NCJanuary 28, 2015
If you want a place where you have the opportunity to grow, learn, and figure things out to be successful, this is your spot. This is the type of place where you can make yourself. The people are amazing, you'll be hard-pressed to be the smartest person in the room. Not only is everyone smart, but everyone is welcoming and fun to be around.

The environment is reflective of the people, fun, eccentric, and entertaining. There's free Starbucks, food trucks, mobile detail services, Bagels, Ping-Pong tables, foosball, video games, and a gym in the office. There's almost always something fun going on amongst the employees - Halloween is a pretty awesome time. Jeans and a t-shirt every day is great as well.

Things have changed over the past couple years. Since the Vocus acquisition in 2012, things have continued to get better and while it's not back to it's 'old ways' - it can't really ever be the same due to time and circumstances but some may argue that it's as good, if not better. Vocus is no longer controlling the business and decisions are made by iContact leadership.

2015 should be a fun year.

iContact had the best culture behind its product. The employees were all treated as equals and all voices were encouraged to be heard. Lots of resources within the office for employees to bond and "reboot" if needed - Game Room, Cafe areas with free food and drinks. Wonderfully supportive management teams.
Pros
Strong encouragement to bond and give back to the community
Cons
Company was sold to a large conglomerate and most of the positive reinforcement/morale vanished

Customer and Technical Support Representative (Former Employee) –  Durham, NCSeptember 13, 2014
The company was sold several years back, but when I worked there, I loved it. It was fun, employee morale was high, and we were treated like we truly mattered. Pay and benefits were excellent.

Some of the management there at the time, were not exactly a good "fit" for the roles they had within the company (i.e. giving special treatment, etc...), however, for the most part, the management team, human resources, and even the owner were very wonderful, intelligent, and ambitious people to work for.

I learned a lot working for this company, and was sad to leave.
Pros
Salary & Benefits, Employee Morale, Employee Events
Cons
Some of management.
