Idle Games is looking for a hands-on Android Developer to join our Mobile Development team. This an excellent fit for a talented engineer who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment. This candidate will work alongside our top-notch engineers and Product team to design, deliver and implement our highly ambitious yet successful product.

What product, you may ask?
Idle Games is leading the fast-growing industry of social/mobile casino gaming by delivering one of the highest rated social casino games on the market called 'Fresh Deck Poker'. The #1 casino game in 34 countries and in the top 100 grossing apps, Fresh Deck Poker is dominating the App Store charts. Also on Facebook, with stunning art and authentic game-play, it is the only truly 'cross-platform' social poker game. Gamezebo says: "possibly the best graphics I've seen in any poker game..."

You will be instrumental in the success of our Android product, and developing the next wave of games on the roadmap.

We require the following experience and skills:

  • Strong experience in full life cycle of mobile applications
  • Maintaining and extending the native and Java side of our mobile games and developing new features
  • Android SDK development required, Android NDK experience a huge plus
  • Core competency in C++ and Java
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code
  • Experience with Cocos2D development a huge plus
  • Experience with iOS a plus
  • Working knowledge of flash authoring tools a plus
  • An understanding of, or interest in poker would be a bonus
