Lead Forklift Operator (Former Employee), Birmingham, ALJune 24, 2014
Pros: had opportunity to move up.
Cons: pay was a little less then i felt i deserved.
I learned how to not only manage my time but also the time of my peers. I will say though its not fun having to go behind someone to make sure the was done properly but Ive had to do it. That is part of being the lead though is making sure job gets done no matter what it takes. Management there was very intuitive, we would have a meeting every morning – more... going over what needs to be done for the day. Most of the co-workers did well on their own but we did have the few who needed to have some fire lite under them to keep them motivated. There were even a couple I had to tell the manager that if they could change we needed to get rid of them. Both instances the were fired before it was all said in done. The manager listen to what I had to say because he knew I had what it took to keep the job going. I enjoyed being a lead, it made me feel important in the company and had I stayed I would most likely be the supervisor or manager by now. – less

General Laborer (Current Employee), DeKalb, ILJune 10, 2014
A typical work day is get there, clock in, and start sorting the pallets. I have learned what it is like to have no management in a work place there. My co-workers are really good guys, we all work together to get the job done. The hardest part of the job is not knowing what you are going to come into everyday. The most enjoyable part is knowing everything – more... has been completed. – less

Shipping/Receiving Clerk (Former Employee), Mcdonough, GaDecember 17, 2013
Pros: co-workers, experience
Cons: management
This job was very challenging. A lot of work with little help and no training. I was left to do the job by myself the first day with no current experience, Although, It did help me learn the process faster.Management was never around to help. Managers and supervisors were always arguing, cussing, screaming and throwing things, which made the work day – more... a little hard and was hard to concentrate on the work that needed to be done. This job taught me a lot. Taught me how to multi-task and to finish my work quickly but accurately. My co-workers were wonderful. Always had smiles on their faces and very cheerful, no matter the surroundings. – less
