Shipping & Wharehousing distribution clerk (Current Employee) – Amherst, NY – May 1, 2016
You clock in by the computer system by inserting your time for the day from the time you got in, to the time you go to lunch and the time you leave for the day. You work on the truck listing, e-mailing a customers 3rd party. Processing BOL's and PI's for the orders that are ready. Constantly updating and checking on your truck list to make sure anything new is taken care of. Answering e-mails and making sure that you are taking care of the customer's needs on the order forms.
This job has given me stronger computer skills, management is great and we as the workers get along well, we all know what the goal is and that is customer service, that is our focus
Managing your time and I have learned since I have done this job, performing the packaging, order control, you are not just there doing a job, you are there to serve a purpose, that purpose is looking out for the customer, taking care of their needs, after a while you begin to manage your time more effectively, efficiently as well.

Senior Customer Service Rep (Former Employee) – Amherst, NY – February 3, 2016
I dealt with top accounts as well as many small accounts and we were given great flexibility in providing the customer service needs of out clients.
The manager of the dept. was fair but was not really qualified to run a customer service dept. My co-workers were knowledgeable but as I was the only male in the dept., made it difficult at times.
The most enjoyable part of my job was dealing with my clients. I became long time friends with many of them and trying to serve their needs in the best possible way.
The hardest part of my job came when the company introduced new products or product lines and did not provide us with the proper information or tools to assist the customer with the purchase or the solving of problems with regards to the new products .
