Western Regional Manager (Current Employee) –  Los Angeles, CAJanuary 30, 2015
The operation is undergoing change both in structure and leadership. Company does important work but does it in a haphazard manner. Little strategic vision about how to make improvements. Day rough with "fire fighting". Employees are strong group, but the corp culture is corruptive and deceptive.
Pros
benefits and pay
Cons
emails drive work flow, reactionary leadership, mircomanagers

Branch Manager (Current Employee) –  Coppell, TXJanuary 27, 2015
I've been a part of Ikaria for 8+ years as a member of their operations department. The critical nature of what Ikaria does makes the job a fast-paced and challenging one. However, the satisfaction derived from being able to impact people's lives is rewarding.

The environment is dynamic, and it is not your typical 9-5 job. When customer demand picks up, as it typically will during flu season, priorities and work loads can change at a moments notice. You must be very adaptable and able to handle stress well.

soulless corporate entity
Customer Care (Former Employee) –  ClintonJanuary 3, 2012
was a wonderful place to work at first, then became the pale, cold, heartless, stereotypical corporate world. Management is now more worried about saving their own jobs than efficiently utilizing talent.
People are given "you've been here long enough" promotions over more qualified people.
