Legal Clerk/Copier (Former Employee), 201 Broadway Blvd. –
Pros: learning different things
Cons: standing on your feet all day
IKON was a great place to work for if you wanted to learn different things such as copying, binding, scanning and computer skills. The hardest part of my job was glue pasting and then copying the project. it was a joy working with my co-workers at IKON.

Technical Document Specialist (Former Employee), Birmingham, AL –
IKON is a company that is large and became unable to compete with smaller, more flexible competitors.

A Day With Ikon
Porter (Former Employee), New York, NY –
Pros: cafeteria food
Cons: no growth
Ive took on so many challenges over the years working for ikon @ fried frank LLP. The biggest challenge for me was working over the weekends. Working over the weekends meant 13hour shifts and no supervision. Usually the best man fit for the job was given the weekend responsibility. My responsibilities included cleaning pantries, polishing elevators/ – more...  Sinks, cleaning glass doors, restocking conference rooms, vacuuming, and etc. Clients with special requests such as Office moves, trash removals, office cleaning, and etc was also my responsibilty over the weekend. – less

Inside Sales Account Executive (Former Employee), Fairport, NY –
Pros: wage, flexibility
Cons: (null)
My counterparts were great, but the company had been purchased by Ricoh and had margins to meet, which made them very pricey.

Hard work pays off working for this company. A rewarding place to work. They support their employees. Illustrate respect, & it will be reciprocated.
Administrative Manager - Reporting (Former Employee), San Francisco, CA –
Pros: respect for hard work, a nice benefit package, supportive management staff
Cons: don't know of any
IKON is a great company, who supports their employees, both professionally and personally
I would be honored to work for them again. They offer hard working employees a competitive salary, and a benefit package unlike many companies that are competitors of them. As a former employee, I speak from first hand knowledge. A reputable company, and anyone – more...  with the privilege to be hired by IKON, would enjoy a great career there. Work hard, be respectful, and in turn you will enjoy the rewards of working for a reputable company, who rewards on merit, not tenure as it should be.

If offered a position, I'd jump at the chance to work for them again. If they give you an offer, you should, too. Good luck! – less

The job was great. I was familiar with all the programs and software along with all the machines. The only down fall was there wasnt enough hours given to support my financial needs.

A friendly environment with a diversity of people
Administrative Associate (Former Employee), Oakland, CA –
Pros: free snacks, choice of music for the office team
great place to work, friendly co-workers as well as management, pleasant environment with office teams choice of music in the backround, high energy, great working with all of the clients. hardest part of the job I would say would be when there is a rush job, because you have a lot of work to do in a small amount of time, but the great part to that – more...  is everyone working together as a team to get it done. – less

Good company to work for but tends to leave field employees out of decision making process recently.
Sr. Manager Configuration Center (Current Employee), Houston, TX –
Pros: 2 weeks vacation to start, sales teams often provided lunch and dinner.
Cons: month end hours could be brutal.
Typical day receive products in from distribution center. Orders are unboxed and moved to production area for assembly. The paperwork is sent to inventory control for system updates and scheduling. Once scheduled the orders are moved to delivery team for routing. Daily communication with sales teams and distribution center on product received and expected. – more...  Expediting orders as needed based on priority. I learned how businesses work in terms of revenue, OI, and monthly, quarterly, yearly forecasting to meet company expectations.Management was solid and knowledgeable. Coworkers were engaged and worked well together to reach company objective. Worst part of the job was During my tenure we processed 65-70 percent of our business in the last 5 days so it made for some long nights during that time. best part was getting it all done and helping our marketplaces reach plan. – less

Great place to work, received high caliber training, met lots of good people, was able to promote quickly, top notch facilities.
Shop Manager (Former Employee), Sacramento, CA –
Pros: high caliber organization, great people, good pay and benefits
Cons: only towards the end, unsure of continued employment
I enjoyed working as an employee of IKON. I was able to utilize my skills to advance rapidly within the organization. Compensation and benefits were of high caliber. Unfortunatly when IKON bought the business, the shop facility was fazed out and moved to the Bay area facility. I was offered an opportunity to move to the Bay area or accept a position – more...  as a service technician. I had to make a tough choice of leaving IKON to pursue another opportunity. – less

Horrible Company
On-Site Service Specialist (Former Employee), Columbus, OH –
Cons: horrible management, horrible co-workers, can't trust anyone
This is not a company to work for unless you have nothing. Management is extremely unprofessional and rude. They change their polices close to once a month. They will let you believe you are going to get a transfer you put in for and then pull it out from under you at the last minute (happened to me and 3 other people I know, one of which works on the – more...  other side of the country). I've never been so embarrassed to have worked somewhere before IKON. – less
