Honestly care about the people and getting them back into the workforce
Data Entry Specialist (Current Employee), 2701 N Broad st 4rth floor – April 8, 2013
Pros: i dont work the weekends
Cons: dont get paid enough to support my family.
I spend 85% of my day data entering punch in and out times for over 300-400 customers a day. The other 15% I spend training interns, who are in some cases our clients looking for experience in the data entry field, to data enter and file.

Very productive and great teamwork
Program Technician (Current Employee), East China, MI – January 10, 2013
Pros: great benefits
Cons: doesnt allow me to attend school, not on a set schedule.
My workplace is always productive while I'am a passing residents medications doing personal care, and paperwork as well. Ive learned how to work well as a team and to overcome any challenge that comes my way. I have amazing co-workers that i get along with extremely well. The most hardest part of my job i would have to say is not being able to work – more... here while trying to attend school with my GI Bill they struggle to work with you and your future career. The most enjoyable part of the job is us staff keep it professional but at the same time enjoyable to keep our moods up high. – less

Working to make clients independent
Patient Technician (Former Employee), Port Huron, MI – December 3, 2012
Pros: not having to bring your own lunch.
Cons: never being able to get the days off you want due to staffing problems.
Medication dispending, prepareing meals, housekeeping. Working with mentally challenged people is very rewarding. Management could have done more training to help clients be more independent. The hardest part is when you leave the job you can have no contact with the client.

okay place to work, but not the kind of place you would want to stay at very long.
Sales (Former Employee), Toledo, OH – July 27, 2012
Pros: flexible scheduleing
Cons: no healthcare and management.
A typical day at work was sitting in a seat making phone calls trying to sell the newspaper and magazines in different states. Even did bill pays and collections. Management was not the best because they were all young and I wouldn't say it was a hard job at all. I would say the most enjoyable part of my day would be the up campaigns we would run to – more... get people to upgrade their current subscriptions. I liked the up campaigns because it was a little easier because they already had the magazine or paper and would most likely take a upgrade. – less

We would host several events throughout the week campaigning on behalf of several initiatives. There were also duties such a office hours, which was just to assist in the functionality of the office. – more... Social media has become a more recent tool for our messages. I also was the Student Government Association Representative for the group. – less

Personal Assistant to Learning (Current Employee), Fairfield, CA – July 3, 2012
Pros: seeing a change in my clients and being able to teach them new things.
Cons: no advancement and no benefits
Helping clients with work assignments, getting along with each other and taking them out on outings in the community and teaching them what is expected of them in store settings and in parks and malls. When a client has a behavior I have learned how to talk to them and how to help them through it. My co- workers are there to help when things might get – more... out of hand and to help with the safety of all clients. The hardest part of the job is having alot of patience with each client and their disability and behaviors. We are not to take it personally when they attack us verbally or try to physically harm us. The most enjoyable part of my job is when I make a connection with a client and gain their trust. Seeing progress with my clients and being able to show it through documentation is very rewarding to me. – less

Easy-going fun atmosphere
Supportive Service Specialist (Current Employee), Valparaiso, IN – May 30, 2012
Pros: paid lunches
Cons: no one to fill in for vacation
The company I work for is very easy-going. I have learned to control myself in very comprising positions with my clients when dealing with the public. I have learn how to work a stategic timed schedule without getting delayed or feeling overwhelmed. My co-workers are very understanding when when I need help in a certain area. The hardest part of my – more... job is finding someone to fill in for me when I have called in sick or even for vacation, which is always 7 days to 2 hours before my shift starts. The most enjoyable part of my job is seeing how my clients grow into being better suited members of soicety. – less
