Join us at our free Surgical Weight Loss Informational Seminars and meet the Bariatric surgeon, Dr. Theodore G. Perry, medical director. Our experienced surgeon will answer your questions clearly and explain the exact details of the procedure offered in our program, the extent of the recovery period and the reality of the follow-up care that will be required. Informational seminars are held at 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month in the IRMH main hospital building, 4th floor Classroom, 1000 36th St.
Making the decision to have life-changing weight loss surgery is to be approached with careful, personal reflection. After surgery, it is required to demonstrate an utmost commitment to a new lifestyle that is centered upon behavioral changes, nutritional changes, exercise and personal follow-through. Come to our Monthly Support Group Meetings and meet others who are contemplating weight loss surgery as well as those who have had successful and wonderful outcomes.
