This was my very first Real job outside of my first summer job.
Representative duties (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INAugust 14, 2017
This was a work-study position so its meant to help you balance school with work. Which it did just that. They were flexible with the hours and schedules. I don't remember quite a lot from the job as it was a long time ago. But the staff good. My co workers from what i remember were good kids as well. The manager was a nice person and would allow us to do school work if everything was done at work. Good job just a college job from what i remember.

Mentor (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJuly 24, 2017
This was a wonderful learning experience. It was a job provided to me through the 21st Century scholars program. It was a bit difficult to juggle school, my full time job, and this. But it was worth it.

Instructor (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INMay 17, 2017
This is teaching at the university level, so not a typical review. Based on general guidelines, I generated the syllabus, assignments, and tests, and graded all assignments and test. Very little other faculty or office interference.
Pros
Chance to learn by teaching, usually a crop of good sudents/people
Cons
Low pay, job insecurity.

Great place to teach. Little to no room for advancement unless you have a PhD. Had fun teaching and am grateful for the opportunity to gain experience for other organizations.

Good place to work. The benefits are awesome (PTO, Medical, 401K), the work-life balance is good, the pay is average and the administration is sub par. The unfortunate part of IU is that there are very few opportunities for advancement.
