The management didn't know how to do their jobs. When I left they changed management. They cut hours and favored first shift.

IAA does not care about their employees-demanding culture
IT support (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJanuary 22, 2016
One of the missions of the IAA is a culture who cares about their employees. Very disorganized company with a high rate of turn-over. The people who have been there for 10+ years will retire from the IAA but the people who do not have seniority are simply robots.

Driver (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJuly 16, 2015
Really enjoyed working for the Airport Parking, it has its rewards while making new friends. Although you are not allowed to accept tips for good work , you still receive tips as the passengers exit the bus.
Management are very laid back for the most part as long as you do your job. The rule of YOU MUST KEEP DRIVING IN CIRCLES during the overnight shift when there are absolutely nobody around but the stray animals isn't much fun but all in all its just part of the job.
Airport Police can be a pain in the rump at times but they arejust doing their jobs as well.
Co-workers are usually always willing to lend a hand if asked.
Pros
Meeting new people
Cons
Fueling the bus nightly and down time.

Customer Care Assistant/Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJuly 23, 2015
I loved meeting and helping the passengers. It took a lot of physical stamina. Management was a little lax. Pay was low if customers didn't tip.
Pros
Got to meet celebrities.
Cons
Little chance of advancement.

Marketing Research
Market Research Manager (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INMay 1, 2014
As the Marketing Research Manager for the Indianapolis Airport Authority, I formulated goals, long range Market Research planning, and generated statistical reports for management using performance metrics. I expanded the Customer Satisfaction Program by identifying Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and was able to make recommendations to improve passenger experience and overall customer satisfaction. Making data driven decisions, I streamlined data collection with the creation of a Microsoft Access database and saved the airport $100,000 in the annual marketing budget. The new database allowed for reports to be generated for any time period and measure passenger satisfaction levels. This information was used by department heads to implement actions for improvements. I also managed vendor relations with advertising agencies and vendors who provided other services, such as, conducting passenger surveys inside the terminal.

Public Safety Officer (Former Employee) –  Indianapolis, INJuly 17, 2014
This job aloud me to do things that some people will never experience in their life time. The people I worked for and with were always so helpful. The hardest part of my job was keeping the customer happy and doing my job of no parked cars on the curb.
Pros
seeing all types of different people
Cons
working over night shifts when needed
