As owner operator of this 99 room Holiday Inn Express I experienced a different culture in the hospitality industry.
Management was difficult as the hotel was located in a rural area and good team members were hard to find.
The economy also put us in a positon which made the PIP and ReLaunch as was required by the franchise a tug of war with our bank and franchisor.
The hardest part of this investment was that things changed so quickly with the franchise it was hard to keep apprised of where to find the information needed.
The most enjoyable part of the job of course was to see some employees move on to better opportunities in the hospitality industry and also our loyal guests appreciation and continued loyalty.
