Great Pay, but thats it!!
Center Office Technician (Verizon West MCO (Former Employee) –  Tampa, FLJuly 15, 2015
The assignment at Verizon was great!! Great people, great money and the best manager hands down I have ever had, shout out to LT!!
That being said the contractor ICS had numerous issues getting my pay correct, attempted to deny me overtime until the client threatened to deny them any more business. Benefits were decent but I paid almost $700 per month for them.
Pros
Excellent Pay
Cons
Tough to get said pay, pretty much everything else

Administrative Support Secretary (Former Employee) –  Rockville, MDDecember 24, 2014
Based on my experience, company is small and is based in India with two locations in the area. All staff were Indian except myself and another employee. Friendly staff but very boring office as there are not that many people and you get bored quickly typing the same stuff. Strictly data entry and not much communication with other sources. Considering all the typing and reports to be completed, not enough pay. Alot of pressure as only one person was hired to complete all the data entry for billing. Not worth the stress from supervisor.
Pros
work at your own pace
Cons
boring, not enough pay

Good Recruiting Agency
Wireless Network Technician (Former Employee) –  Bedminster, NJJuly 23, 2013
It was an interesting contract in a fortune 500 telephone company in which I learned Cell Transmission technology. It was a very busy ticketing solving environment and I contrubuted to meet the customer satisfaction standards. The co-workers were knowledgeable and team-players. The hardest part was to handle the multiple kind of devices and different kind of signals, but is was a challenge that I overcame by taking methodic notes. The most enjoyable part was fulfilling the customer satisfaction after troubleshooting.
Pros
showing appreciation after meeting the standard quotas.
Cons
no time for breaks but it was alright with me.

Daily and weekly tasks included facilitating project calls to review:

• Review calls with hardware and network architecture teams to get their hardware and network recommendation for each application request.
• Submit hardware purchase request based on architectural recommendations to get the funding approvals
• Implementation calls to assign resources and determine the time lines for each tasks for the build and certification processes.
• Weekly status calls to ensure that project tasks are on track, address issues and determine their risk to project time lines.
• Provide escalations to upper management to remediate and potential risk effecting time lines.

Became more knowledgeable about the network and provisioning systems for telecommunication systems.

Worked with a great team of PMs, manager and team lead were extremely good at communicated the hard deadlines to be met and providing positive feed back on performance and results.

The most difficult tasks were following the constant changes to the corporate standards for software and dealing with work force reductions while keeping projects on track.

The hardest part of the was leaving after the contract term was completed.

The most enjoyable part of the job was having the new system successfully go live into production and getting positive feedback from the clients.
Pros
excellent support from architect and engineering team
Cons
company standards now always clear for software choices, adjustments to project time lines due to reductions in work force.
