Two to three years’ experience in a field related to business or public administration is highly preferable. Ability to draft professional correspondence, including emails, memorandums, and notices.
Responds to administrative problems as identified by the incumbent's supervisor, as well as independently resolves issues in areas of responsibility. Prepares responses to inquiries for information, addresses telephonic inquiries, and works to ensure that the information posted on the website is current and accurate. Maintains calendars and appointments; assists in establishing priorities and tasks, and assuring all obligations and tasks are met or completed on schedule. Executes small projects such as, compilation of data or organization of large events. Processes all incoming and outgoing letters, memos and related correspondence. Prepare reports, memoranda and other forms of written communication. Composes and edits letters, reports and general offices memoranda for publication/distribution on behalf of the Director or senior level officer. In the supervisor's absence, maintains a file of correspondence and events of which the supervisor should know about and upon their return, brings such matters to their attention.
Associate's Degree in Business Administration, a related field, or a combination of equivalent training/practical experience.
