Fast Paced Customer Focused Environment
Assistant Manager (Current Employee) – Lancaster, PA – March 16, 2015
A typical day starts with a shift meeting to get yourself and your crew up to date on any new regulations and basically what's going on that day. You then get all your people into their positions and begin to run the shift, You monitor your customer contact points, monitor cleanliness, monitor product levels, monitor employee productivity, as well as monitor labor hours and costs and seeing to it that all food safety rules and regulations are being followed. You jump into a position when needed and help out wherever you can throughout the shift. At the end of your shift you gather your employees and go over the day briefly. You discuss what went well and what could be done better. You would then count any cash drawers and record any deposits that were on your shift. Also, you would fill in any sales and labor paperwork that needs to be filled in for your shift. You then have a brief meeting with the manager taking over and discuss any high priority topics for the next shift. You make sure that everything is ready for the next manager to take over.
