Physicians own this business. They need to keep their focus on patient care and out of office issues. They make decisions based on keeping their medical assistants happy. While that may sound great it led to poor morale. Medical assistants were no longer held to any standard and eventually took control of the clinic. All nurses were let go leaving medical assistants to take care of triage questions etc. Poor management by people trying to keep physicians happy. In the end, no one is truly in charge and patients are forgotten. Very poor care, loss of respect for all of them. Distrustful and unstable environment.

I think it is precarious. Physicians refuse to agree to a standard of care so each individual practices differently. Patients are unhappy that their scheduled appointments are changed at the last minute on multiple occasions so the physician can go on vacation. Patients are upset they are not notified of test results in a timely manner, some are never notified. The public have many options of where they can receive good health care. To ignore patient needs is simply asking them to go elsewhere. Eventually, the public will refuse to accept this behavior
