Our organization grew from a community-based campaign in 1896 to provide residents with high-quality healthcare. The original Mobile Infirmary opened on October 21, 1910, at Ann Street and Springhill Avenue in midtown Mobile. A century later, the 704-bed Mobile Infirmary Medical Center remains the cornerstone of Infirmary Health System.

Employing more than 5,300 people and with some 700 physicians on staff, we are the largest private employer in Mobile and the largest nongovernmental healthcare system in Alabama. We give back to the community through corporate gifts and sponsorships, employee volunteerism, and uncompensated medical care. We contribute nearly $10 million annually to dozens of local programs and agencies. – lessMore from ZoomInfo »
