Pros: able to work at your own pace and schedule
Cons: very hard to break into businesses
I was hired to open a new office without any customers. The office was 300 miles from the main office which made it a challenge. The reputation of this company is excellent in their area but not where I opened the office. My challenge was to get businesses to open up to a new company coming to town. I was involved in many business functions including Chamber of Commerce and Business Breakfast meetings. The town was very hard get into as businesses were very loyal to their vendors and not willing to give me an opportunity.
