Job security but less compensation
Technology Architect (Current Employee) –  Ridgeland, MSNovember 29, 2016
The overall work culture of the company has changed in recent times. The company is no more driven by values. Most of the times you will get good managers but with laterals joining the company values have gone for a toss.
Now culture is moving towards keep your boss happy and company has stopped addressing employees concerns.
Infosys has got the best campuses among IT organizations in India. You would love Infosys campuses and facilities in India but you won't be able to utilize them due to stringent project timelines or longs waiting.
Pros
Job Security
Cons
Less salary

Technical Support Representative (Former Employee) –  Milwaukee, WIOctober 6, 2016
Technical Support for Apple products such as iphones, ipods, and MAC computers. Typical day included answering phone calls for customers who were experiencing technical difficulties with their devices. Although management was unorganized and didn't always have the correct information, (it was a new company) they really did some great people who cared about the employees. The hardest thing about the job was there was no job security, or advancement within the company.
Pros
Great people
Cons
no advancement within the company

Typical day at work involves ensuring the hundred percent availability of the network. This can be setting up a new connectivity towards client location or troubleshooting a problem within the organization internal network (connecting global locations).
Managing the servers at the datacentre take another slot in the day.
There is always something new to learn with such vast network and different connectivity models.

Lots of red tape, management not very open minded, not easy to take vacation. Lack of middle management skills. Unproductive company meetings. Lack of cohesion between colleagues in working together on projects. Management cave into the clients ignorance instead of wanting to show a correct way of doing things therefore not improving the flows of the client but just going with their flows. Lack of will for change and be open minded in how to do things.

I enjoy working in IT filed, especially in the field of full stack web development. I have faced very friendly co workers in all the work places I worked till now. Especially my team leads and managers very friendly and they were my mentors too.

My hardest part of the job!?I never figured it out but working on week ends was little difficult, though I enjoyed it.

Technology Lead (Former Employee) –  Houston TexasAugust 19, 2016
Last role played was a technical scrum master quite aggressive role to handle the offshore and the only client facing scrum master to ensure the sprint objective are achieved.

Quite young and committed team members.
Enjoyable part of the sprint is the demo which gives us words from client as Well done
Hardest part is to ensure it is achieved each sprint and the consistency is maintained.

1. Opportunity to learn new technologies.
2. At the same time you may be working in difference projects that involve multiple technologies.
3. New challenges with in the content solutions team and investments team.

Most hardest and enjoyable part of the jobs is working on multiple projects at same time that involve multiple different technologies.

Supportive and encouraging co-workers that help in professional growth.

Large Organization with a diverse range of offerings
Business Development/Client Relationship (Current Employee) –  Basking Ridge, NJJuly 27, 2016
Being one of the largest IT services organizations in the world with a wide range of service offerings, Infosys offers a great learning opportunity for people starting their career in IT services industry. However, after a certain stage growth becomes slower and is heavily dependent on external factors/luck. High degree of process control has led to bureaucratic organizational structure with reduced ability to take swift actions. Compensation and benefits are ordinary.
