On December 17, 2007, IR Limited announced that the Company had executed a definitive agreement to acquire Trane Inc., which is a global player in indoor climate control systems, services and solutions. Trane has 34 production facilities worldwide. On November 30, 2007, the Company completed the sale of its Bobcat, Utility Equipment and Attachments business units (collectively, Compact Equipment). On April 30, 2007, IR Limited completed the sale of its Road Development business unit to AB Volvo (publ) in all countries except for India, which closed on May 4, 2007.
