The INDAR range of electric generators provides a response to the technical demands posed in the main sectors such as the energy sector (wind, hydroelectric, solar thermal, cogeneration) and the naval sector, etc.


The Designer/Drafter will be responsible for the designing and drafting of mechanical and electrical components of electrical rotating machines


  • Develop and update detailed drawings and specifications for mechanical and electrical components of electrical rotating machines, manufacturing tools and fixtures using SolidEdge CAD software
  • Create and update existing 3D models in SolidEdge
  • Responsible for drawing revision control
  • Create and update Bills of Material and drawings database
  • Work closely with production team, including shop personnel, providing them with supporting documentation
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS (Skills, competences, expertise, etc.)

  • Good verbal and written comprehension and communication skills
  • The ability to read blueprints and drawings
  • PC skills including familiarity with MS Office software, such as Excel, Word and Access
  • An understanding of the CAD system (SolidEdge)
  • Organizational and analytical skills

ACADEMIC REQUIREMENTS (Academic degrees, languages, other informal knowledge, etc.)

  • CAD experience required, SolidEdge is plus, working towards Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
