Graduate Intern, Hempstead, NY - January 16, 2017
The semester was spent working on several cases that the program director reviewed and accepted. The smaller cases were divided up between groups of co-workers to work on until a given timeline. These cases were worked on simultaneously with a larger, more in-depth case. For this case, groups were assigned specific aspects to work on in conjunction with the Law School branch of the Innocence Project. These projects required us to manage time between concurrent cases while also completing other coursework. In the case of Graduating students, we were also working on our theses. Although the assigned cases took a significant amount of work and dedication, it was rewarding to be able to use our accumulated knowledge in a practical manner.
