Inside Sales Rep (Current Employee) – New York, NY – August 19, 2015
Pros - Good co-workers - Management is pretty good - Work Life balance is great - Hoteliers are usually pleasant to talk to - Commission structure is good
Cons - It's a startup, comes with uncertainties - It's cold calling(i'm in the sales dept) - Sales cycle is complicated and unpredictable(GM could love your product, but owner may never see since he's not on property and doesn't want to be contacted

Your manager should be there to back you whenever there is an issue or escalation. You should not come to work to be yelled at by clients and management blames you in order to make you feel bad to keep a few bucks. Expect to be pulled in multiple directions and spread too thin because everyone is new and barely knows the product. Rude clients.
