Typical Day: Reviewed 'kits' of extra parts returned from Production, counted them, recorded quantities on labels, transferred them in computer back to Inventory and put them in their locations. Researched 'problem parts' and resolved issues.
I learned: 'ways to accomplish my work more efficiently.
Management: very supportive of employees' and rewarded continuous improvement efforts.
My co-workers: Most co-workers are conscientious about their responsibilities, but some exhibit apathy that negatively affects others, increases others' workloads, and wastes company money.
Hardest part of the job: Staying positive about some co-workers and their lackadaisical attitudes toward their responsibilities.
Knowing at the end of my shift that I accomplished as much as possible everyday.
I enjoy working as part of a team, and on my own. I strive to accomplish as much as reasonably possible each day and that gives me job satisfaction.
