Working as a teller was spurts of fast paced madness, with breaks of extreme slow. You have to stay on your toes. This job demands speed and accuracy. It's hard work, but very gratifying in the end. This is a company who really cares about its customers and its employees. I would've stayed if it were closer to my new home.

they pay much less than other Credit Unions in area, much pressure to spend what little free time you have "Volunteering" at events, extremely high turnover, a lot of pressure to make certain sales goals but no help from upper management.
The company is constantly changing their direction and goals leading to many inconsistencies. The pay and benefits are comparable to competition however upward movement is not always available. The work load is easy.
Fun and productive place to work, but the stress level was a little too high. Coaching on how to sell products was constant. Management kept on top of goals and helped with difficulties in areas that are lacking. Co-workers at the office were great and fun to be around. Everyone helped each other out and was there for you no matter what. Difficulties were trying to sell the same products to the same customers that frequently came in. Enjoyable part - it was an all around fun environment to work in.
Volunteering with free entrances to certain venues
No P/T healthcare, constant selling to same customers daily

It was a good place to work at first but the schedules didn't work with my home life and it was always short staffed. Would be better with more stable employees and different management. The only kind of good part was that it was always busy so the time went by fast while you are working long days.
