Full Time Teller, Lancaster, PA - July 8, 2014
Perhaps the most rewarding aspect of any position at Integrity Bank are the employees who work there. Each and every branch is staffed with very personable individuals who are an absolute joy to work with! The size of the company allows for an individual to get to know even the higher ups as I was able to meet the President/CEO on several occasions even as a teller.
Although the people are fantastic, there is a lack of adequate training and resources to prepare those new to the bank or new to banking. I do not know the exact figures but as an employee I saw what I felt to be high turnover especially of those new to the company. Also, due to the close knit culture, new employees find it difficult to assimilate into the group.
Some managers also are inadequately equipped to lead a team. One specific Assistant Branch Manager was clearly professionally immature and caused a very tense working environment as he/she allowed her personal emotions to dictate how she treated her employees.
Overall, the company was a pleasant place to work. Although some of the practices and policies were inconsistent, the people were generally pleasant. A lot of activities and celebrations made it a fun place to work but not necessarily the most professional.
