Pros: fantastic people to work with; free lunches during busy season
Cons: incompetent managment which has little interest in the employee's welfare and growth
The owner is absent from everyday decisions and is surrounded by a group of incompetent "yes men" executives. ID needs professional management brought in from the outside. The current slate is isolated and does not really know what is happening in the industry. One of the biggest difficulties is the incestuousness of the company. There is nepotism, – more... as well as the same people having worked together elsewhere. This stifles innovation and that is highly discouraged. ID is able to hire some great talent and this is a plus. However, the turnover rate is huge and most do not stay past 2 years or so.
ID is a potential goldmine. Yet, the pettiness and lack of competent management are destroying it and providing an incredible disservice to those lower-level managers and personnel who are great. – less
