SUMMARY - Serves as primary administrative support person for National Sales Manager. Serves as liaison between internal and external contacts. Organizes, creates, and updates reports, prepares sales proposals and plan-o-grams and manages sampling of products and price quotes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must have demonstrated competencies in all of the essential duties including the following:
Create and analyze reports.
Manage sampling of products and price quotes.
Organize, update and establish account in-house files.
Maintain & disseminate accurate information from external agencies.
Assist manager with all aspects of a major account on a daily basis and in communication efforts.
Administrator for various customer websites; downloading sales and invoice data.
Communicate regularly with external agencies.
Problem resolution and provide regular follow-up to resolve problem issues.

Superior written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to read, write and speak English.
Ability to think analytically and be a problem solver with excellent attention to details and organization abilities.
Superior PC skills with advanced capabilities in Microsoft programs (Excel, Word, Power Point) and web based tools.
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
Ability to travel to National Trade Shows and assist in setting up exhibited products.
Ability to perform basic math functions, multiplication, division, addition and subtraction.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
College Degree or equivalent experience.
5 or more years previous experience as a Sales Assistant, preferably in consumer products company.

Must be able to spend long stretches of time working at a computer screen.
