Direct Sales Account Specialist (Current Employee), Los Angeles, CA – April 21, 2013
Pros: flexibility to work remote and tele-commute
Cons: heavy workload
Handle general account management requests for top accounts. Admininstrative and reporting requests from 10 sales reps, 2 sales managers and 1 VP.
I've learned that being responsive, setting expectations and follow up make customers and co-workers happy.
The most difficult part of my job is ensuring all requests are completed within the same business – more... day.
Co-workers and team events are the best part of my job. – less

A fast paced business oriented workplace
Expert Event Specialist Operator (Current Employee), West Point, GA – April 5, 2013
Pros: good benefits, generally easy work overall
Cons: the work is a little monotonous
A typical day at work consists of talking to business men and women from all over the globe. You answer incoming lines, gather information from callers and place them into their desired teleconferences. You also oversee large teleconferences, read introduction scripts, bios, and disclaimers before the conferences begin. I learned a lot about how fortune – more... 500 companies conduct business, how teleconferencing works, about various office duties, and how to stay level headed in a high tension environment. – less

Good money making business, but long sitting hours
Event Specialist Operator (Former Employee), West Point, GA – March 3, 2013
Pros: free lunches when goals were obtained by the call center
Cons: had to work without a lunch. dust everywhere!
Not a bad job. Nothing really bad to say about this company. The hardest part was sitting for 12 hrs and the attendance policy that was not honored by the company. I learned a great deal about conferencing and customer service. I enjoyed hosting the conferences and having to use proper grammar. I had to multitask a great deal and perform each call resulting – more... in what the company refereed to as a "Perfect call". – less

Stressful, but generally rewarding work.
CONFERENCE COORDINATOR (Current Employee), Manassas, VA – February 11, 2013
Pros: engaging work with a daily schedule that could allow for college study along side work.
Cons: costly health insurance, few opportunities for advancement.
Set up and run Teleconferences for exectutives from various companies. A typical day consists of 2 or 3, hour-long teleconferences. Time not spent running conferences is spent directing call center traffic.Management is helpful and generally understanding. The hardest part of the job is getting a disgruntled customer and not having sufficient knowledge – more... to help them. The best part of the job is executing a conference to perfection, particularly when under pressure. – less
