Pros: break room
Cons: short breaks
Greet mangament and staff, as I set up intake desk for incoming clients. As we open, I have clients fill out paperwork, when they return the forms, I take down their names and look for their file. After retrieving their files I set it up and make it neat and hand it off to a caseworker. Also while doing this I answer multi-line phones, and make sure the waiting area is neat. I am qualifed in stock room and warehouse, and dividing up food and dispensing it to clients. I learned a lot of new things, the main thing I learned was interacting with diverse cultures can be very rewarding to me and the rest of my working experience. Management here at Interfaith Community Services is phenomenal. They're always making sure we are on task and consistent, co-workers are a great assest to have when you have a question you're not to sure about, or even needing a little extra help up at the front desk. The hardest part of the job would probably be understanding the clients request, for i'm not bi-linguel. I had a lot of fun here, the best part was hands-on work with the clients and meeting new people that I got a long with so greatly.
