boring
Lead Supervisor (Current Employee), Blue Ash Ohio – May 3, 2013
Pros: i love the people that i work with
Cons: healthcare costs to much
We have changed into a crossdock. We have lost alot of customers because we don't have the product in the warehouse now. Customers that come in want there stuff then, they don't want to have to wait for a day or more sometimes. We have surveys asking the customer how they feel about things, but nothing has changed at all. We go to work everyday wondering – more... when we are going to close because of this. I use to really like working here but not so much anymore. – less

great concept. One in a kind business practice
Account Manager (Current Employee), Jacksonville, FL – April 19, 2013
Pros: the co-workers are the backbone of the co.
Cons: to much change and no direction to improve anything
co-workers are some of the best . OI have learned that they control the commission by changing the quota qualification to control commissions . The hardest part of the job is trying to get different departments to co-operate. The most enjoyable aprt is the customers.

Hard working group of people
Warehouse Associate (Current Employee), Richmond, VA – April 10, 2013
Pros: pond out front full of five pound bass i constantly fish on lunch
Cons: poor healthcare, negative employees, thin payroll with heavy work load.
My everday roll in the warehouse is never changing, all though every day can be different. With a group of workers who have been in one job to long they seem to be on idle speed. A few worker's with great work ethics and high motivation are the only reason goals get met in certain time periods. Payroll is stretched real thin making the few good workers – more... work even harder. Great place to learn warehouse basics and equipment operation basics. Once in this field you learn of better advances elsewhere and can't help but want to stray from this group of folk's. – less

Full time job
Company Driver (Former Employee), Beltsville, MD – April 4, 2013
Pros: overtime
Cons: trucks always breaking down
I enjoyed my job once I left the warehouse to begin my delivery route. A typical day was to sort my material and load my truck by the area that route was going to be ran and delivery the product in a timely manner. I learned to be organize and disciplined in delivering in a area i was unfamiliar with. The management good but wasn't great at accepting – more... new ideas and my co-workers were fun to be around and helpful. The hardest part of the job was working with rude customers and slow management companies and the most enjoyable part of my job was getting my route done everyday 100% with no returns or complaints and I Had the biggest route. – less

A typical day on the job consisted of making 100+ calls per day. Faxing, emailing, and mailing any paper work needed per the customer. I also mailed out past due notices. I processed payments via check and credit card on a daily basis.

Decent Company
District Sales Manager (Former Employee), Jacksonville, FL – February 22, 2013
Interline is a decent company to work for, like many companies they don't pay well for travel. I was given a $500 monthly allowance and expected to run a multi-state territory on that amount which could easily be consumed in a week. I also had some issues with distribution channels, your company is only as good as the upstream distribution which is – more... not on par with some of the competitors. – less

I worked as an account manager and was with the company for about 3 years. I worked my accounts and grew my sales territory, built amazing relationships not just with my co workers but with my clients as well. I would absolutely recommend IBI as a great company to work for.

Excellent Opportunity
Inventory Control Analyst / Buyer I (Current Employee), Tulsa, OK – December 3, 2012
Pros: great hours and location
Cons: pay, benefits
Each day allows you to be a self-starter and manage your workday. I have been given great opportunity to make a career change, management is wonderful to work for as well as co-workers. We do make work fun when possible, but it's also a job. The hardest part of this job is the rate of speed at which some things are accomplished. The most enjoyable part – more... of the job is the sense of self satisfaction at the end of the day knowing what you have accomplished. – less

Truck Driver/Warehouse associate/forklift in a safe enviorment.
Warehouse Driver /Warehouse Associate (Former Employee), Mt.Laurel – June 25, 2012
Pros: experience, working with others
A typical day at work for me as a driver, I would come in collect my paper work, load up my truck, and deliver the products to our customers. While I was in the warehouse,I became certified with the forklift,I learned to use the pallet jack, stock rider, pick orders, put inventory away,shipping/recieving dock. The managers were all very respectable and enjoyed – more... working for them. All the co-workers got along very well and help eachother out when needed. The hardest part of the job probably was loading up my truck. The most enjoyable part of my job was having the customers' satisfaction, getting the job done right, meeting new people, and having a nice check at the end of the week for my hard work. – less

Devoid of ethics,Counterproductive managers
sales executive (Former Employee), New York, NY – June 12, 2012
Cons: entire work culture
Cannot speak for entire corporation but I would stay away from U S Lock division in N.Y.
Management has no industry knowledge, cannot decide one day to the next what area of the business they want you to concentrate on, does not have the knowledge of policy and procedure to assist any rep in customer service aspects of business.
They will play with – more... pay plan to affect bonus for themselves and burn the rep if it means extra dollars for them.
If you relish leadership by constant threat, building customers to have them randomley removed from your book of business, and a desire to watch favoritism at work , then you have found a home!! – less

Customer Service Team Leader (Former Employee), San Diego, CA – May 21, 2012
Pros: i was always busy
Cons: little room for advancement
I have worn many hats while working for Interline Brands. My title was Customer Service Team Leader, but I often acted as Customer Service Representative and Trainer. It was a fast-paced environment where no two days were exactly the same. I have built a rapport with my teammates, the sales force, and management.

A great company to work
Account Specialist (Current Employee), Jacksonville, FL – May 3, 2012
Pros: celebrations, great upper management
Cons: pessimism toward team spirit from peers
In my experience with IBI, I have found that the company is overal a positive place. Management has an open door policy, which enables myself and my co-worker the chance to ask questions whenever one arrises or to just pop in and say hello.

A typical day at work for me includes managing past due accounts, running reports, creating excel spreadsheets, – more... processing payments, maintaining vendor -customer relationships, and relationships with sales reps and fellow colleagues.

The mutiple celebrations that management organizes for birthdays, holidays, and employee anniversaries, is by far the most enjoyable and heart-warming part of my job. However, a growth would be the lack of team spirit from my peers. – less
