Insurance Agency Assistant Wanted
Full-Time with benefits - Insurance Agency Assistant wanted for local Property and Casualty Insurance Agency in the North Huntington area.
We are looking for a candidate to work full-time in our fast growing insurance agency. Great team atmosphere in a fun working environment. Office hours Monday – Friday 8:30 – 4:30
Job Requirements:
Strong organizational skills
Strong communication skills
Strong computer skills - proficient with MS Office Suite.
Ability to efficiently Multi-Tasks
Knowledge of Applied System a plus
Ability to work in a paperless, fully automated environment
Experience and Education:
2-5 years of Property & Casualty insurance agency experience
Associate Degree
P&C License Required
Job Responsibilities:
· Answer operator phone calls, screen calls and forward to the appropriate party
· Sort, open, date stamp and distribute incoming mail & prepare outgoing mail
· Process Close Day Reports
· Assist with marketing projects, as assigned
· Process and assist with Commercial and Personal paperwork
· Certificates of insurance
· Evidence of Property
· Binders and ID cards
· Run Motor Vehicle Reports as needed
· Process cancellation notices for non-payment and reinstatements
· Process endorsements
· Process audits
· Complete claim reports and note updates in the system as received
· Process renewals
· Billing Questions and issues
