Going into this job, I wasn't sure what to expect as I have been in retail all my adult life. Everyone was so welcoming. I worked hard and they always let you know how important you were. I was cross trained on different aspects of the business so whenever someone called out, or didn't show up I was the person called upon to do their job as well as – more... my own. As the EMEA Finance Manager I regularly meet with the operational side of the business to discuss business performance and how I can assist with adding value to achieving our targets.
I have gained a deeper understanding of the channel business model within an IT hardware business and why this is important as well as selling direct to end customers.

Throughout my time at Intermec I would select understanding the business operations as the most enjoyable because this has allowed me to understand how commercial finance can play a value adding role within our functions meeting their full potential. – less
