Working at International Truck and Engine

We have lost three engines due to overheating and cylinder sleeve failure. A regular preventative maintenance check of all fluids is completed each morning before these truck get on the road. Is there a history of typical failures with this motor? These trucks were built in 2000 to 2003.

I have an International 4700 in here that has the dt466e engine and it runs like a topand starts right up every morning. The problem is that it willonly run for about 2 or 3 minutes over 2000 rpm. It will idle all day but as soon as youhead out, it will cut out as if you turned the key off. I have recently done the injector seals due to failure, a new high pressure fuel pump, and now a new high pressure oil pump. Before the injector seals blew about 4 months ago, it was the best truckin the fleet and had little to no issues. Now it is in the shop every week. I need help! Thanks a lot for anything you can give me.

my 2003 international dt466 flatbed truck in the morning starts running rough like missing and after 10-15 mins it clears, the colder outside the longer it takes, but after the 15 mins it runs fine and strong, but when is aroung 45degs outside she really idles rough and sometimes hard to start. the mechanic at the dealer says it sound like the injectors but its to soon at 246k miles. what u think? thanks!

Computer diagnostic comes up ok, have replaced fuel filters. Tightened loose fitting on suction side of fuel line. Changed cam sensor. Still the engine misses when under load and going uphill. Anyone have any ideas?

I have an 89' S1600 (or S1654). It used to be a u-haul rental truck. I was just wondering what kind of weight load the rear axle on this truck can carry. I run a septic business and need it to carry a 8000 pound (when full) tank. The vin of my truck is: 1HTJUZRK2KH638341 Thanks!

all the guages freeze when driving and the only way to fit it is to shut off the truck and re-start it ------ then the guages work anywhere from 10 minutes to two or three days and does it again and again and again. Any suggestions?
