Laborer (Current Employee) –  Okemos, MISeptember 25, 2017
This job requires it to be your life. It is hard to manage anything else in your life besides work. It is fast paced, unorganized, stressful, but the money can be nice.

They get very upset if you need to take a day off of work
Michigan (Former Employee) –  MichiganJune 16, 2017
The company is very competitive. There is more room for advancement however they seem to get upset with you easily. They do not seem to get a lot of contracts for work either.
Pros
Good pay, a lot of overtime.
Cons
No breaks.

Payroll Administrator - Office (Current Employee) –  Denver, CO 80249May 31, 2017
Fast pace environment - different day to day activities. Language barriers sometimes makes it difficult, but it makes me want to learn Spanish, though! I was thrown into Payroll, so I learned and mastered it rather quick. This job is very fun!
Pros
I am hourly, so i get to pick and choose my hours while still being full-time.
Cons
Cultural and language barriers.

Foreman (Current Employee) –  TexarkanaMarch 13, 2017
Low pay across the board. Terrible per diem.
This company especially the sw division (Tx, ok, at) is a joke. The division manager has no clue what he's doing. There are no pros, lots of cons, very unprofessional , and some of the worst equipment I have ever seen. Also they have no work after this summer , there is no structure, no organization , classic case of too many chiefs and not enough Indians. One of the worst jobs I've had
Pros
None
Cons
Too many to list

Accounting Administration Dept (Former Employee) –  Centennial, COJuly 3, 2014
IHC cares about their employees, the bonus progam and benefit package is outstanding. They really care about employees and their families. The Corporate office really has a good team that works together and have had a lot of fun outings like bowling at lunch etc. This is a great place to work if you like the family atmosphere!!

Advertises family environment but not true. Old cronies say one thing and do another. Morale very low in the office. Pay is not competitive as sometimes you get a bonus, but it is not guaranteed. The bonuses are usually very low compared to the field managers and corporate officers. The only thing very good is the insurance benefits, but who knows how long it will be like that.

Tracked trucks coming and going from gravel yard. This job was not difficult. Would look for something with more of a challenge.
