Quality Control Technician will be responsible in the execution of the department’s project plans associated with data collection in determining the quality of raw, bulk intermediate and finished products are meeting or exceeding company’s guidelines. This position will be responsible for conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples. Must be able to interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release along with performing visual inspections of finished products.
Must have a minimum of an associates of Science degree to include basic coursework in mathematics i.e. college algebra, trigonometry, and the understanding of introductory statistics are strongly preferred. Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office software to support strong Excel skills will be a necessity. Three to five years of lean manufacturing experience, a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail are critical to this position.
