Poor training program, financially strapped, no direct deposit. No matching 401k, lot of state and medicare audits due to fraudulent billing and no authoritative leadership in upper management.

The hardest part of this job is learning the McKesson computer program. It's very complicated and difficult to learn. Majority of day is spent entering data in computer, and attending to patient, family and physician calls. The office staff is great and much laughter occurs even in stressful situations. Management is very caring & supportive. Ongoing support is always available.

helping residents with activities of daily living. helping residents maintain a quality of life as voiced by resident. every week is a learning process as residents may encounter some health issues not stated or confronted the day before. co-workers are very cordigal and willing to assist with questions and/or decisions. hardest part of job is not being able to resolve pain issues. most enjoyale part of the job is engaging resident in meaningful converstion or listening to the wisdom and experiences of residents.

Intrepid was a good place to work.

My day included,helping my clients with personal care and meals,housekeeping and errands.
I learned how to work with people on their level,but tried to get them to focus on as many positive things as possible.
Management was always willing to listen to our concerns.
I didn't get to meet my coworkers on a daily basis.
The hardest part of the job,was when Intrepid was bought out by Premier,because of the benefits,that were dropped.
The most enjoyable was when my clients were happy and laughing.

Slow productivity due to lack of organization and tense environment

The Nashville Intrepid Home Health office is a tense environment and very unorganized and backed up on logging in info.
The management is very threatened and fake in dealing with their office personnel. Because of the lack of concern for their employees, this particular office does not provide an opprotunity for job security or advancement within the company.
The compensation and benefits are good and the work is not that difficult, if given the proper coaching and time to perfect/complete.

Initially enjoyed working for Intrepid. However, multiple changes in corporate staff made it difficult. Ultimately stepping down from a management position to a field position did not work out with new management.

It was a bad experience. I worked there for almost 8 months and then left.

It was apparent very soon after my employment that the work environment and my coworkers were not content in their positions. The office was in transition related to a HIPPA violation which affected everyone adversely
