A company to start your career in pharma. sales but no security.

Pros: good overall benefits package, good place to begin a pharma. career.
Cons: compensation package is far, far less than your client counter part, projects are for specific duration, you serve at the mercy of the client, no severance except for pro rated bonus.
Get used to having 2 bosses, 1 from inVentiv and 1 from the client. While the work rules and field procedures and protocols are about the same for both inVentiv and the client you are working for, the similarities ends there.

Great work environment, fast paced

I was responsible of working daily with doctors offices and patients that needed assistance. Helping them out was very gratifying. I believe that our team changed many of their lives. My co-workers and i always made sure we did our jobs as best possible.

The company is at it's height of growth, however they are not compensating the growth with new positions and head count. Compensation is also below industry standard and in comparison to work load and responsibilities. Clients come first

Pros: pay in us dollars
Cons: they keep their distance from contractors
Short-term contract work is a stop-gap measure, and inVentiv Health is no different from any other firms...the administrative burden is light, and they keep their distance. They say they will help you find more work, but they really don't exert much effort on contractor's behalf. Lots of mid-level executive turnover.
